What Is Benevolence Sunday?
At New Faith Church, we believe that faith is not only something we hold in our hearts but also something we put into action. One way we live this out is through Benevolence Sunday, observed on the fourth Sunday of every month. This is a special time when our church family comes together to share God’s love in tangible ways—supporting those in need within our congregation and the wider community.
Inspired by Proverbs 19:17—“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed”—we recognize that every act of giving is an act of worship. Benevolence Sunday reminds us that generosity doesn’t just change someone’s circumstances; it changes hearts and lives.
