Tested By The Storm | Luke 8:22-25
Storms are a part of life. Some arrive suddenly. Others build slowly over time. The real question is not whether you'll face storms—it's what those storms reveal about your faith. In Luke 8, the disciples found themselves caught in a violent storm while Jesus slept in the boat. Fear took over. They believed they were going to drown. But when Jesus stood and spoke to the wind and waves, everything changed. In this message, we'll discover: • Why God sometimes allows storms in our lives • What storms reveal about our faith and trust • The difference between fear and faith • Why God calls us to stand firm instead of panic • How to trust Jesus when life feels out of control The storm wasn't bigger than Jesus. The disciples simply forgot who was with them. No matter what storm you are facing today, Jesus is still in the boat. Scripture: Luke 8:22-25, Ephesians 6:10-14, Job 13:15 If this message encouraged you, be sure to like, subscribe, and share it with someone who may be walking through a storm right now. #TestedByTheStorm #FaithOverFear #Luke8 #TrustJesus #ChristianSermon #NewFaithChurch #StormsOfLife #StandFirm #Ephesians6 #JesusCalmsTheStorm

Facing Giants | What Are You Facing Today?
What giant are you facing today? Fear. Doubt. Discouragement. Financial pressure. Broken relationships. Health challenges. We all face giants, but the story of David and Goliath reminds us that victory is not found in our own strength—it is found through faith in God. In this message, Pastor Rich explores one of the Bible's most familiar stories and challenges us to look beyond the giants in front of us and focus on the God who is greater than them all. David's victory didn't begin in the valley; it began with a heart that trusted God long before the battle arrived. 📖 Scripture: 1 Samuel 17 Key Takeaways • The battle is often lost in our minds before it is ever fought in real life. • God often prepares us privately before He uses us publicly. • Victories are not found—they are pursued. • True victory comes through faith in Jesus Christ. • Don't settle for one victory when God has more for you. • Victory comes from a heart after Jesus. 🙏 Need prayer or want to take a next step? https://www.newfaithcw.org/next 📅 See upcoming events and ways to get involved: https://www.newfaithcw.org/life 🌱 Learn more about New Faith Church: https://www.newfaithcw.org If this message encouraged you, please like, subscribe, and share it with someone who may be facing a giant of their own. #FacingGiants #DavidAndGoliath #FaithOverFear #NewFaithChurch #ChristianSermon #BibleTeaching #1Samuel17 #VictoryInChrist #Faith #JesusChrist

Empowered to Witness | Pentecost Sunday Sermon
What does it mean to live empowered by the Holy Spirit? In this Pentecost Sunday message, we explore Acts 2 and the promise Jesus gave His followers: “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.” This sermon looks at the role of the Holy Spirit throughout Scripture, the purpose of Spirit baptism, and why God still empowers believers today. Using the illustration of a saw without a battery, this message reminds us that while faith in Christ brings salvation, God also desires to empower us to live boldly and be effective witnesses for Him. 📖 Primary Scripture: Acts 2:1–4 🔹 In this message: • The Holy Spirit in the Old Testament • The promise of Pentecost • Regeneration and sanctification • Empowerment for witness • Why the gifts of the Spirit still matter • “We are leaky vessels” • Living Spirit-filled daily ⏱ Chapters: 00:00 — Open 00:30 — Empowered to Witness 02:00 — Acts 2 and Pentecost 05:00 — The Holy Spirit in the Old Testament 10:00 — The Promise of the Spirit 14:00 — Regeneration and Sanctification 17:00 — Power to Be Witnesses 21:00 — Why the Gifts Still Matter 25:00 — We Are Leaky Vessels 28:00 — Final Challenge and Invitation 🙏 If you’d like prayer, want to take a next step, or would like to connect with New Faith Church: 👉 https://www.newfaithcw.org/next 📅 See upcoming events and ways to get involved: 👉 https://www.newfaithcw.org/life 🌐 Learn more about New Faith Church: 👉 https://www.newfaithcw.org #PentecostSunday #HolySpirit #Acts2 #SpiritFilled #Pentecost #ChristianFaith #BibleTeaching #Empowered #NewFaithChurch
