What Are You Pursuing? | Pursue the Presence What are you pursuing—and is it bringing you closer to God?
We can spend our lives pursuing success, security, possessions, recognition, and even the blessings of God while missing what matters most: God Himself.
In Part 1 of our Finding More: Pursuing God's Presence series, Pastor Rich Vinson looks at Moses' powerful words in Exodus 33: “If Your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.”
Israel had been delivered from Egypt, but God still had to get Egypt out of Israel. In the same way, our past experiences, failures, disappointments, and old identities can continue shaping us long after God has called us into something new.
In this message, discover why:
• God's presence is more important than His provision.
• What happened to you does not have to define you.
• We shouldn't pursue God's blessings more than we pursue God Himself.
• God's presence reveals our purpose, changes our identity, and leads us into our calling.
• Making room for God requires intentionally stepping away from the noise and learning to listen.
The pursuit of God's presence moves us from identifying ourselves by who we were to becoming who God has called us to be.

This week, ask yourself: What—or who—have I been pursuing that has become more important than God's presence?
